14-day free trial. No credit card required.

Microsoft 365 Copilot costs $30 per user per month when billed annually. For organizations that prefer to pay monthly, the rate is $31.50 per user per month, though this option still requires a one-year commitment.

These costs are add-on fees. To purchase and use Copilot, your organization must already maintain a separate, qualifying Microsoft 365 license for each seat.

What are the licensing requirements?

Copilot is not a standalone product. Every user assigned a Copilot seat must also have a license for a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan. When calculating the total cost of adoption, finance teams must include the price of the base Microsoft 365 subscription alongside the Copilot add-on.

How do the commitment terms differ?

Both pricing models are based on an annual commitment. The $30 rate is for those who pay the full annual fee upfront. The $31.50 rate allows for monthly installments but does not permit month-to-month cancellations, as it is still tied to a yearly contract.

To determine if a $36,000 annual spend for 100 users is generating a return, organizations must move beyond qualitative feedback. Measuring the actual time saved on routine tasks against the cost of the add-on licenses provides a clear picture of the net return. NetLift enables finance and IT leaders to track this value by comparing labor costs and output speed against the total cost of Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption.
